| This is Elly. She has degree from University Science Malaysia (USM) in TESL. She happily married with her beloved husband Mahadi. Mahadi is doing his PHD in Physics. Wow! Such a genius, right! haha..And insyaAllah they gonna get a baby girl this March. cONGRATZ guys!! I'm happy for both of you! Elly is doing her masters in Islamic Education. |
All of us are coming from Malaysia. We are very close and we love to spend time together. When we meet, many things we can discuss and share. Last week me and Sue went to Elly's house~ Elly and her husband call it 'Persada El Mahadi'. Nice right? =) We talked about 'how to improve ourselves and be a better Muslim'. We realized that we have many weaknesses that should be cured. Than we came into conclusion that we should read the Quran more often, understand the meaning, ponder upon it and think on how can we relate the ayahs in the Quran with our life. This is the best medicine to cure ourselves from all the negative attitudes. Then, we start to read surah Al-Kahfi one by one and try to relate it to our problems. Its really work guys!! Seriously..! One of the ayahs says that this life is only a test..not more than that.. It is just like an exam.. if you study hard, u gonna pass it..if not..u gonna fail. Same goes to our temporary life. We always think that we are still young and we rarely think about our preparation to meet our Creator. If we die tomorrow, can we imagine how our days gonna be in that small house? We gonna suffer if we die without preparation. That is only one ayah. A lot of things we have discussed regarding the ayahs and we can feel the sins that we have done. Oh Allah! Please forgive us. You are the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
We also plan to memorize the important surahs in the Quran..Start with simple surah..3 Qul (Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas) even we already memorize all the surahs and know the meanings, we dont really know the significant of reading it. Yesterday we have started the hafazan session and we gave our ideas regarding the ayahs. After we finished our hafazan and creative thinking session, we discussed on how to do good ~ means how to share what we have with other people. So.. we come out with this BLOG! We really hope that we can do something for other people ~ at least to share some ideas.
